Netflix Selects Ideal Performer for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Third Season

Baroque Works is poised to make a major impact in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, even if the major clash won’t take place until the next season, and a cherished, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.

Netflix announced Tuesday that the skilled actor is now part of the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Bentham. This character can use their power to change into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve touched with their main hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and uses they/them pronouns, will depict a interpretation of that character reimagined as non-binary, rather than as a drag performer, in the live-action show, unlike the original manga and anime.

The new cast member is joined by several other fresh additions who will portray the group to the screen, including chief the main antagonist, portrayed by the seasoned performer, an emerging star as another operative, and a familiar face, who will appear as the lineup as the monarch of the fictional land.

Although the role is a important part of the organization, the individual won’t appear until One Piece season 3. Considering the next season set to cover the Little Garden segment, this marks a major departure in the timing of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest further changes to the plot development.

Their mix of precise humor and profound feeling makes them a perfect fit for the character. In addition to their latest vocal work in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and multiple awards for creating and performing in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, emphasizing the range they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s highly regarded roles.

The platform’s adapted One Piece show is scheduled to come back for its next installment on March 10th, 2026.
